it’s an IPO, do yourself a favor and just buy an index fund.

Fundamental analysis on stocks can be really complicated and even when done by the brightest minds in the world, they often (and I mean really often), get beat by the index.

If it’s just fun money, then buy some stuff you like and for the specific reasons you like them. If it’s serious investing for your future, index funds and if you want to do individual stocks along side index funds, then do thorough due diligence on the companies.
