Along with the previous season's record I listed their first year records below. I don't see how you can take anything away from Pope. He inherited a team that wasn't looking to be very good at all (could've been a .500 team) and convinced Yoeli to return (he was gone), kicked Nick Emery off, brought in Alex Barcello etc.
