I actually keep all of the Thank you notes or letters of appreciation from all of the kids I have had over the years. Whenever I have a really bad day I read through them and remember all of the powerful stories I have had and great relationships I have made. I also tend to reflect on what I am doing as a teacher, if they are acting up, I try and mix in some life lessons etc to make my lessons more applicable. It can be so hard and frustrating to be a teacher. Sometimes a change of schools helps?
