Unfortunately it seems that President Nelson's efforts to help us reaffirm the true name of the church didn't take in the future, because we're still being called "The Mormons". 😉

On another note, I found the Mormon storyline to be pretty interesting. In Ep. 2, I think, there's a missionary street contacting on Ceres. I got a chuckle out of it and didn't expect any further Church references, and then watched over the next several episodes the development of the storyline about the L.D.S.S. Nauvoo.

I thought it was a pretty clever choice by the authors of the books to find for their story a religious organization who would be willing to spend the money on building a ship like the Nauvoo — interesting that their realization that the LDS Church of the future might undertake such a task came at the time that the Church was spending $2B on the downtown SLC City Creek renovations.

I'm a big fan of the show so far. I'm not necessarily a sci-fi/space genre fan, but the storytelling is great and the world they have created feels internally consistent for the most part. I'm only on Ep.8 of S1 but looking forward to having a new show to watch for a while.
