I mean, you could buy puts with a short expiration date or way out of the money
and they'd be considerably cheaper, but then your risk would be much much higher that they expire worthless. Any puts with a reasonable expiration date and strike price are really pricey. And that's because people know that GME is coming down. It's just a matter of when not if.
