just replaced our 2003 Suburban with a 2021 Yukon. The Suburban served
valiantly for 18 years, 200k miles, pulling boats while overloaded, short trips around town for 90% of it's life with the infrequent long hauls in the summers while loaded with people and gear. No major issues at all, other than a rear A/C issue in the first couple of years covered entirely by warranty.

Our experience with it is why we stayed with GM and went the Yukon route now that all the kids are gone. The new design makes the 3rd row more usable and the space behind the 3rd row is the largest we could find without stepping up to the big SUVs.
