There are lots of suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons with the 5.3L V8 with 200 to 300k
Miles. That was a good engine. I'd look into one with the 5.3 and if you pull the trigger on one decide if you want to try to bypass the cylinder deactivation system.

I still have my 2004 Suburban. At the time we bought it we were considering a Tahoe...glad we went bigger...
