I felt legit bad for Donovan last night. He’s 24 years old and one of the most
famous and best people in his profession’s history was incredibly rude to him on National TV. And it was completely out of context and unwarranted and out of the blue.

Can you imagine scoring 37, throwing on a headset 45 seconds after the game and immediately Shaq just rips you.

He looked like an embarrassed kid, caught flat footed by a rude comment from a bully at school.

I hate feeling truly embarrassed—that feeling of blood rushing to your head, the wanting to drop into the floor feeling—it’s only happened a few times but it sucks.

I honestly felt like a protective dad for Donovan last night.

That sucked.

And of course he handled it perfectly in the moment and afterwards in various comments
