Six years of I-banking was enough for me. But I do to this day appreciate the learning, professional growth, network, &
experience I gained. The money was nice too.
But I have had way more fun and fulfillment professionally as an entrepreneur.
Life can have seasons of imbalance, but you need to never lose sight of what is truly important. If you can do that then a season of imbalance can be a great refining fire. But I did see some go native and lose their way.
To each his own. But if I were going to grind I think I would tell my younger self to do that as an entrepreneur. Higher risk, but higher reward and more satisfying with the chance to build something that lasts rather than selling your time.
