All income has been through my employment, until this year.

My wife if doing a masters program as well as teaching at the university, receiving a sort of stipend.

The school has sent a W2 for...like, $3500..maybe less.

Do I claim that as taxable income? Is there a threshold of earning that doesn't need to be declared?
