Corn Pop Intervention Needed
So Tom Brady has already had several of what I would call natural triggers for
retirement. The first came in 2016, having just won his fifth SB. A full set of rings, status as GOAT secured, still had his full health. Walk away in style. Nope.

The second time was the very next season, 505 passing yards in a SB loss. I mean, it was a great run. Status as GOAT still secure. Nope.

The third SB in 3 years, this time with a win, would be the charm, right? I mean, he had just put the cherry on top of the cherry of a GOAT career. Nope.

Fine, he gave it one last shot, but the magic was gone and he looked terrible in a playoff loss. It was a great career, status as GOAT was secured years before, just call it a night. Nope.

Now he’s in the SB for the 4th time in 5 years, 5th time in 7 years (think about that, 5 times after he turned 36). I don’t even know what you’d call this. A whole new cake on top of the double cherry? Will this finally be the trigger?
