I understood that what is happening with GME is that people have Shorts that (maybe on friday?) they have pay off or something ...

If they can just hold the short for forever, how does this push do anything, since eventually, the stock will fall back to it's business fundamental level (which is probably something like $4 right?)

So, for this to work, don't the people holding shorts have to be pushed to do something by some deadline?
