A girl in my ward did not get in but made a comment that got me thinking
- “I’m ok Bishop- I can go to a different school. I’m just worried about how much it costs. I will need to find a really good job” - this girl has saved 25k from working fast food since she was 15- I really wish tuition was increased at BYU so that perhaps the Church could use some tithing funds to help subsidize good, qualified, faithful members who do not get into BYU. This girl is going to do great things and her tithing is going to help some kids at BYU do great things as well.
