ice cream or takeout type places and at checkout the ipad defaults to the options of 18% 20% or 25%. I'm happy to pay for good service, but nothing was even done, this is just a guilt trip to extract a 20+% upcharge.

That’s why I prefer to pay cash at those places. Not an option much anymore.
