I’ve shared my story of my in laws cooking a Christmas prime rib to xtra well done a few years ago. While sad,
I managed got get a slice of the jerky down and could have lived with it.
What occasionally wakes me up in a cold sweat is remembering the comments from the chef about how “juicy/moist” it was and how it was such a “tender cut.” If you ruin meat just eat it and move on with your life.
