Last years team would have cleared the 1st round.
Last years team lived and died by the 3. I think they may have made it to the Final 4 if hot. They also could have been eliminated in the 2nd round. They were good enough to beat quality defenses.
This years team is more likely to make the sweet 16. Less likely to make the elite 8.

I truly believe that last year's team could've made a sweet 16 or even elite 8 run. Very difficult to defend and good
