Since 1995 the US Population has grown by 25% & basketball participation has soared worldwide. Yet the NBA has expanded by just one team. Aside from players using their own authority to create super teams, the limited number of roster spots has forced more talent onto each team. While there are still garbage teams like the Pistons, rosters like the current Mavs, Pelicans & Grizzlies would've been solid playoff teams a generation ago.
