better team in the tournament. We have all seen plenty of games in the tournament where a hot 3 point shooting team suddenly goes cold and can't make a thing. Defense is just as important in those games.

It's probably more just me being pessimistic as a BYU fan than actual reality, but I feel like BYU rarely shoots lights out in tournament games even when they have a decent shooting team, except when they have a freak of nature like Jimmer Fredette. I mean even look at last's game vs St. Mary's in the WCC tournament...BYU shot 38.9% where their season average was 42.2%. Wasn't way far off and not bad at all, but still well below their season average. They hit their season average and they win that game. Instead, we all know what happened.
