I agree wirh you except for the options
No real data except personal experience. Luxury cars and loaded cars trnd to jave oqners who take better care/more routine maintenance ,etc than base model owners.
From my frirnd who owns a tow this has held trueas well.

A Limited version or rquobalemt if purchased used has already lost some of that options value, but retains the "options desired value..which is why used limited all other things b3ing equal..still cost more 5han a used base.

So there is srill onherent value in 5hat as well as thebafore mentioned l9klojood of csre.

As for driving till it dies.i agree with that as well..which is why driv9ng yhe loaded versions also makes sense.

The poin5 abou5 more stuff going wrong is also true though...bu5 fepending on what it is if youre keeping it til it does...5hat thing may not matter..it may only bring you down to base usefulness(like a power sliding door vs not.

Very good point though and should be considered, i agree

In the process of saving eventually you will sale your older paod for czr and want to find a buyer..Ahain at this point sellong a lomited vs base has advantages. You dont have to try to get more out of it than competing bases if you dont want and can sell quicker b3cause of that.

The difference that you brought up is the question. That depends on whatbyou buy your car for and what you sell it for comparatively though to base models doesnt it?

And if you dont like driving the car vs love it...and perhaps extra safety features on higher trim..
Its a complicated dance!!
