I guess he started having some bad headaches so he went in and got a MRI last week.
The MRI revealed a large tumor over his eye that had also mixed in with parts of his brain. He had surgery Monday morning (Feb. 23) just five days after the scan and they were able to remove part of the tumor. (He is currently recovering in the ICU). The tumor, however, has spread to the other side and will require ongoing treatments to keep it in check.
He and his wife and their 5 kids are some of my daughter’s and her husband’s favorite people.
All I can say is life is fragile and we never know what day could be our last. Hug your kids. Hug your spouse. Hug your parents. Tell them you love them everyday.
I normally don’t post things like this or ask for help, but if you can donate to their go fund me I know his family would be thankful.
