across the world. Before the pandemic, there were more people pulled out of poverty than at any time in the history of the world. Now feel free to complain (although it does nothing) about not having the next big idea, but almost anyone in the USA can live their dream if they put in the effort. They may not become billionaires/professional athletes/the US president.... but they can be happy.

I think that people (except for the 'economist') covet other people's money. That's the real issue.
