My wife and I have decided NO smartphones for our kids when they become teens

Flame away!

They're 9, 7 and 3.

I've seen too many examples of what they do to teens, including those close to me. I know there's a way to monitor their activity...blah, blah, blah. I'll be okay with not being the "Cool Dad" when it comes to this topic.

When the times we're going the Gabb route and getting them a phone for contact purposes without all the "cool" apps.
