For those interested, here is an update from Ryan’s wife. Thank you all who donated. It looks grim, but he’s doing the best he can.

“Thank you all for the love and support. This is the hardest thing we have ever experienced. The love of my life Ryan had headaches for the last month, we did the normal chiropractor. Massage, meds but they would just come back. We decided to See a Dr. who smartly ordered an MRI for the next day. We didn't make it home before the Dr. called and said we needed to see a neurosurgeon to address a large tumor on his frontal left lobe. We met with him last Friday. It was heartbreaking, he needed surgery fast! We entered the ER, had another MRI and went under the knife Monday morning at 8am. 4.5 hours later he was in recovery in the ICU.

We were told: they couldn't get it all, some spread to the other side, he might be paralyzed, he may not remember things and that he has a stage 4 glioblastoma. Basically it's not curable. And as bad as it is with chemo and radiation we are hoping to get a year. I don't share much on fb, but we have been overwhelmed with love and support.

This is hard so devastatingly hard. Our 5 children are young. We are going to make the most of the time we get. We love Ryan more than words could ever say. And I know many of you love him too. We hope to come home soon.

Today he walked. He remembers much more than they thought. He is fighting.”
