I was in Helena this week and stopped in to a local gun shop. I was blown away that this place had not one, not two, but THREE 400" bulls on display. It's nuts to see such big bulls like this, and they're so rare in the wild now you're lucky to ever see one. It's virtually guaranteed you'll never harvest one.
Of course all three were shot way back in the 30's and 40's and have a story of "so-and-so shot this bull while out looking to fill the freezer, the antlers sat in his garage for 60 years before someone finally scored and mounted them...."
This first bull is Montana's #3 non-typical and score 412 1/8 (gross over 423)
Second bull is Montana's #1 non-typical and scores 423 3/8 (over 451 gross!)
Last bull is my favorite because he's so clean and typical, he scores 396 4/8 (gross is 418)
