The PAC no longer should be included with the other Power conferences in either of the main men's sports. They are inferior in both. Teams like USC football and UCLA/Arizona basketball once were national powerhouses. Now they are shells of their former selves, with no hopes for former status on the horizon. Especially saddled with a disastrous TV channel, deep debt, and severe covid-lockdowns in the primary states.

I almost pity the Utes for being stuck in that mess. While not bottom-feeders like WSU or OSU, they are only in the tier of weaklings just above them. With prospects of becoming worse.

And if Coach Pope hangs around for a few more years, Utah will remain as the second-best BB program in the state ... at best. Not sure that even applies now.
