We are going to make a couple of changes to the back yard this spring/summer and I'm wanting to get an idea about what to do with the sprinklers in the areas where we are making changes. One section of the yard is going to be made into a gravel driveway extended off the side driveway/back patio. This is a temporary solution until we extend the patio into a new garage we will build next year. Another section we are removing the grass where the trampoline is to put in a circle enclosed with pavers that will have rubber mulch for under the trampoline.
So, the question is, both areas have sprinkler heads that are attached to the current system. Is it simple enough to just cap the pipes where there are sprinkler heads and bury them, or do I need to reroute the system to avoid future issues?
