becomes wealthy is decisions that are made. It's true that we're impacted by some decisions we have nothing to do with. I grew up relatively poor because of decisions my parents made with money early in their lives. They've recovered now and are doing much better, but during my childhood, money was tight. That being said, they did make good decisions in terms of staying together and focusing heavily on raising children. Obviously that's an advantage I had over many, many people out there.
She's now a victim of her own decisions. I'd wager that her decision making process is heavily influenced by the dysfunction she saw in her childhood. They're still her decisions and hers alone. Government giving her money isn't going to solve it for her.
