The purpose is reduce liability of those getting you to invest, it’s just a box

I’m not saying to check it if you don’t consider yourself an accredited investor (never know whose reading this), but it’s not the barrier to entry that many think it is.

Not in my experience. In my experience you just fill out the form. But you’d have to check one of the boxes representing
