Some of you knew from another post that I was going to pyramid lake in Western Nevada and asked me to report when I got back. Well here it is:
The weather was cold and windy. 23 degrees when we walked out into the waves to begin. I’ve freezing up the guides. The first day I fished 13 hours and caught only one fish.... This cutthroat trout:
35 inches. It was too heavy for our scale that only went to 15 pounds. People who know fish weight better than I do (I only know trout inches) tell me it’s in the 18-20 range. 🤷🏼♂️
Next day was much faster. Caught 8 fish before the sun came up including three doubles with my buddy. This fish from the next day would have been my personal best if I had caught it 21 hours earlier.
