Super glad I own physical books
I have always loved books. As a kid I had a goal/desire to have a home library full of hard bound or leather books. I started collecting in high school.

Since the advent of kindle and ebooks I have wavered somewhat on my goal. Kindle is so convenient and I find myself reading from my kindle more then a physical(that has not curbed my madness for buying physical books-they just sit unread).

However in saying that I got to thinking how easy it is to digitally erase a book from society. I find that I have some difficulty in finding e copies of certain books.

Fast forward to today and I learn of certain dr Seuss books not being printed. I went to find them on Amazon and they are not being sold. I look at Abe books and the prices are now in the 200-300 dollar range.

I wonder in the future if physical books will increase in value due to companies choosing not to publish or carry digital copies.

Glad I own physical, now just have to convince my wife to let me add more book shelf’s. 😂
