How much are you willing to spend out of pocket to save your pets life?
We had a young pup Weimaraner that ate a rock in our backyard. It ended up getting obstructed as he tried to pass it and was causing issues.

Our vet wanted to charge us $5k to remove it or he would likely die he said. I told them to but him down.

Amazingly the vet said try rice and ground beef meal for a week and see if it passes. It did and the dog lived a long healthy life.

If I was in the same situation with my kids there is no amount I wouldn't pay, including giving my own life to save them.
