watching the trailer, it seems to have nothing in common with the book except the title and lead character's name
still looks like a fun action flick though.
reading up on the movie adaptation, the original rights to film it included a plan to have Keanu Reeves star. This would've been before John Wick and been his first foray into this kind of action movie. He would've been good in it, but Michael B. Jordan looks legit too.
