We basically already do this with Academy Schools - this takes it up a notch
The question is, will people be interested in watching 16-year-olds and 18-year-olds play? The top kids will probably make some money from endorsements and deals, but what about the rest? Are people really dying to watch kids play basketball at this age? They currently put some of these top games on TV, but lots of people tune in for 1 or 2 players. They want to watch Lebron's kid or they want to watch the kids that are committed to their school.
I just don't see how they are going to be able to afford that type of money for so many players.

This is a serious blow to guys like coach K and Calipari. They make a living off finding the elite 1 and done kids.
