It's going to have to mostly be sponsors; it will be interesting to see ...

... if they can get the NBA or individual teams to provide some money. Like you said, it's basically a version of the academy model. It should work for basketball almost as well as it does for soccer.

This could wind up merging with the G-League at some point, also.
