Well, it could mean that stores start pulling any of his merch/CDs off the shelf
that concert venues stop booking him because of fear of backlash, radio stations/streaming services stop playing his songs, tv stations stop showing 8 Mile so he loses out on the royalty opportunities.
Not saying it will happen but once someone has become cancelled this whole woke world shuns them and cuts off their ability to continue to make money.
