Second order effect of Zach Wilson
One of the things that I think is special about Zach's meteoric rise last year is just how far he came from the end of 2019 to the end of 2020. He not only recovered from injuries, but he put effort and focus into developing his craft and the results are going to see him in the NFL.

Is a second order effect on the program other players seeing what Zach did and realizing that the old methods of just showing up for practice and stuff are not going to get it done? Does this shift the expectations for starters to realize that making it to the NFL takes effort far beyond what the coaches demand?

In the past, I have felt that there may have been really talented players who never really achieved the kind of success that they could have. Maybe it was because Football was 5th on the priority list instead of where Zach kept it. I would love to think that there are players on the team today who have shifted their development curve after seeing what Wilson and Milne did last year. Players who finally understand that the NFL is possible with enough dedication and focus.
