My wife lost her sister-in-law who was in her 50s and healthy with no underlying health issues that would’ve made her more susceptible. Now my brother-in-law who just lost his wife is sick as well as their son and his wife and young daughter.

We raided savings and sold a few things and sent nearly $10,000 down earlier this week for medical bills and to try and find oxygen for them as there’s none available in Peru. No hospitals have beds, can’t find oxygen anywhere, and the people that are selling oxygen tanks are scamming people who take them home and find out that they are broken or have no oxygen in them.

We feel so horrible knowing we can’t do anything but send funds. I feel so badly for all those who haven’t even been able to say goodbye to loved ones once they get admitted to a hospital or can’t travel to help or at least be near. My condolences to any here on CB that have lost loved ones due to this pandemic. You’ll stay in my prayers.
