Slim Intervention Needed
I know most of you hate dogs but they are truly remarkable animals. Since it is warming up my 11 and 5 year olds wanted
to sleep in the back yard in a tent tonight.

The only hiccup to that was that the wind last week was so strong that it blew over our back gate and I haven’t had the chance to fix it yet.

I told them they could sleep back there (I had plans to carry them to bed late at night in their sleep) as long as our giant golden doodle was back there with them for protection.

Well my wife and I just went outside to carry the kids to bed and my golden doodle comes trotting up from where he was on the side yard next to the blown over gate. He usually sleeps inside but not once did he bark to come back inside tonight. I have cameras all around my house and he never drifted far from the kids and was basically on patrol back there the last few hours watching over them. Never went through that gate. Just stayed there watching to make sure no one else came through to our side
