get it right.  This would have been a big deal if they had lost. I don't care about the fact that Google would have lost a bunch of money, but it would have set a scary precedent that allowed big tech companies past their prime to hold the industry hostage from "moving on". Yeah, Java was the center of the universe once upon a time, but the innovation that has come from Google (Android) and many others has made technology better for consumers while helping developers build on a familar set of rules...and it just didn't look anything like plagiarism as Oracle was contending.  I just don't think any of the lower courts really understood the concepts or implications. Glad there are smart people on the SCOTUS.
