due to COVID. He was an amazing man and a diehard BYU fan. Chad Lewis spoke at his funeral because of all the good that he did for BYU. During the bowl game where we played Oregon in Vegas, he was invited to sit with the Oregon Head coaches family, but he also had a son in law playing for BYU. So he wore an Oregon Sweatshirt, with BYU clothing everywhere else because he said BYU was much closer to his heart. He was perhaps the greatest man I ever have known and a dear friend to my dad.
