As far as MLMs are concerned I'm not a fan and have never recommended them. Also

I have warned my mother not to send money to anyone. Lots of criminals out there. But to compare the two is just dumb. One actually has products and is legal. The other does not and is illegal. You aren't a more moral person for hating NuSkin.

Note: I've never worked for NuSkin.
