I had a patients daughter ask me directly “would you place this g-tube if this

Was Your mother.” I said no. I would not. She was an 89yo severely demented female in a nursing home. I was very clear that this would not make her mothers dementia better. Daughter thought otherwise.

Daughter still wanted the tribe. She got the gtube.

Really frustrates me sometimes.
