Dealers are great when doing warranty work
Otherwise they are a joke. $900 to replace my headlights. Did it myself in 45 minutes for about $150 in parts. $900 to change fuel filters. Did it myself in 15 minutes for about $45. Recently said my oil cooler failed and contaminated my cooling system with oil. $7000 to repair. Took in to a diesel mechanic who did two pressure tests, three vacuum tests and four coolant flushes over three months and he said there is no leak in the coolant system. We are still out about $1200. He said his guess is someone put the oil in the coolant reservoir either during the last oil change or at the dealer where the problem was discovered. So if they put the oil in the coolant, scratch what I said about them being great at warranty work.
