This article is specifically targeting people that live on much much less than

they make and save the rest. Early Retirement (FIRE), people that don't just take out $20k to take their family on vacation, and for that 20k to be taxed at 30%, they would have to already be taking out soo much more for their living expenses, which is not the target audience.

You can't deduct contributions to a traditional IRA if you make more than $125,000 if you are married
