Most interesting is that the BCS rankings wouldn't have had BYU or Coastal Carolina in a NY6 game either. The one difference might have been that BYU never would have played (and lost to) Coastal Carolina though. For all the talk about guarantees, I'm sure part of the reason we didn't accept the game with Washington was because we weren't sure where we stood in the CFP. If we were higher, we may not have felt the need to accept CCU on short notice.

I feel like the government went in and fixed the BCS with something worse. BCS with top 4 in playoffs would be a step
