First. For status make sure you are checking the right site for amended:

http://sa.www4.irs.gov/wmar/notice

If they have received it, you will be able to select the tax year after inputting your info

Once selected, your status is there. Mine says its received, but not processed and gives the following number 8008290582 ext 623

My accountant called for me and they said its delayed because of covid19....a cop out for sure, but I wait.
