My wife and I are in St. George, celebrating our anniversary. We went to Tuacahn to hear a Carpenters tribute band.

The lady who sang all of Karen Carpenter's songs was really bad. She was off all night on pitch, tone, and everything else related to a singer. Her rhythm was sloppy, she missed a lot of entrances, she forgot words, and it basically sounded like she was having her first practice with the band.

I felt embarrassed for her, and was hoping that she would get at least one song right. But there was not a single song where she sounded polished.

Oh well, if you have an opportunity to go see that band, don't.
