Completely agree. No one can convince me there’s a good substitute for talking
to those who will be making decisions for you once your capacity is limited/removed.

The greatest service everyone with an adult child can do for them is to sit them down and talk about every scary and taboo scenario where they end up unable to decide for themselves.

Trust me on this CB. Your family will think you are crazy in the moment but will praise you forever if you ever need surrogate decision-making.

Same goes for the children of parents >65. Have the talk. Just like you have the sex talk with teens, have the death talk with your parents. You’ll never regret it.
