Just remodeled my townhome that I rent out. I installed all new flooring, and as part of that, removed all the tile, including from the laundry room. Then we installed some new vinyl flooring, that looks really nice and seems to be super durable. Anyway, the drain in the laundry room is now up about 1/2 inch from the floor, and last night, I was there cleaning and used the water in the kitchen sink a bunch and i wonder if it cause water to back up from that laundry room drain, because in the morning I got there and noticed water all over the floor in the laundry room. (the washing machine was all hooked up, and i hadn't used it.)
So how can I fix this? Do I have to use a dremel and cut the plastic drain down to flush with the floor, or is there some sort of drain pan that I can use?
Thanks for the help.
Go Cougs.
