Hard reality. Interest in college sports is plummeting, too.
Not just the pros, now, but also at the NCAA level.

CNBC: "The 2021 NCAA men’s basketball championship averaged 16.9 million viewers, the least viewed title game for CBS since it started broadcasting them in 1982..."

I know some hard core fans from the past walking away because of the upheavals pummeling sports currently. Not just casuals, but two guys who had been big donors, a sports equipment retailer, those who paid for premium sports boards, those who used to attend away games for the thrills, comped insiders, fantasy team addicts, and two ex-players who do not watch their own sport anymore. The landscape has shifted for the worse and that trend is not improving. Roy Williams pretty much nailed it.

My own abdication was accelerated when the coach at Creighton was punished for making a minor verbal slipup. I don't want to support something that is sooo unfair. This present situation leaves me cold.
